While winning awards isn’t our ultimate goal, we’ve worked every day for 34 years to maintain a standard of excellence that will make our clients shine. And when that work receives recognition, we can’t help but feel a great sense of pride and glow, so to speak.
Having been acknowledged with the Davey Award, Constant Contact All-Star Award, Graphic Design USA American Graphic Design Award, Communicator Awards, D Award and Gold Ink Award on a number of different projects in previous years, the Graphis award is a new one for us.

Premier Communications Group was awarded a Silver Award for the 2015 Buick NAIAS press kit in the Advertising Annual 2016 competition. The kit was created for an exclusive, invitation-only event, and precursor to the 2015 North American International Auto Show media days.
As a reveal for the Buick Avenir concept car, a multipage booklet housed in a custom-molded acrylic holder shared the story of the global design collaboration and vehicle highlights. We designed the kit to complement the palette and textures employed in the event staging, as well as to reflect the upscale nature of the vehicle. We fabricated the acrylic holder to stimulate the lines of the auto show display structures. The colors and graphics utilized in the print booklet and microfiber pouch emulated the display materials. The custom metal USB drive added to the uniqueness.
The distinctive presentation of the media materials generated significant buzz for the Avenir. As a result of the attention garnered at media events, it segued into a production model, the Buick LaCrosse.
Graphis invited professionals from design communities across the world to be considered for inclusion it its hardcover Annuals. The most compelling work of the year is selected for platinum, gold or silver awards. Being recognized on an international platform is an amazing achievement for us. The Graphis award is a great bookend to put on the story of this project.
