This position will need to ensure that workflow efficiencies and productivity are optimized from the point of turnover by the account team to the creative team. As a freelance website designer & developer at Premier Communications Group, you will be a part of building upon our agency’s skillset in website design, digital interfaces, and maintenance on existing sites for our current and prospective clients. You’ll have an opportunity to work on a variety of projects for clients spanning a range of industries, from hospitality to automotive. You’ll need broad experience in website design and development, including building websites from site maps through to completion. In this role you’ll be developing functional and intuitive websites in collaboration with other team members and our clients.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of WordPress dashboard and custom template design
- Strong knowledge of HTML / CSS, PHP, JS and SCSS
- Solid skillset with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- Able to develop, implement and manage SEO strategies
- Work with plugins and custom queries to create solutions for websites
- Turn Photoshop / Illustrator mockups into functioning websites
- Work with creative team to manage design direction
- Providing design and UI/UX advice for a better final product
- Comprehension of ecommerce website development
Project Manager
We’re seeking a project manager to help provides tactical sales and marketing support to our current clients and prospects.
You will be responsible for assisting with marketing communications strategy development related to brand development, marketing strategy and planning, PR, social media, digital marketing, events, and content creation for all associated projects. In this role, you need to be experienced with incorporating digital and online tools and in-person networking to create relationships and build the brand of PCG and our clients, both online and off.
- Content creation: writing blog posts, articles, newsletters, communications materials, and material for social media channels
- Public relations: managing incoming media requests and building relationships with industry journalists; creating, executing and measuring media campaigns. Responsible for ensuring active and engaged communities around a defined topic or topics by managing short and long-lead editorial calendars, monitoring online conversations and participating in those conversations to build brand visibility and thought leadership
- Communications/marketing strategy: responsible for assisting in creating strategic marketing/communications plans to provide direction for corporate and public-facing communications
- Social media marketing: creating, managing and growing client’s presence through blogs, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and other strategically relevant online properties. You will serve as the initial point of contact for inbound requests from online properties and the web at large
- Analytics: experienced in using Google Analytics and other measurement tools to provide reports on metrics, and continually find ways to improve on those metrics through testing and new initiatives
- Client relations: responsible for providing client support – answering questions however they come in (phone, e-mail, Twitter) and managing any online feedback forum pages
- Events and event planning: research, planning, attending and implementing public relations/marketing strategy and executing the process
- Business development: assisting in the development of new business and sales
- Assist in the development and execution of public relations efforts.
- Provide copywriting abilities for a diverse range of mediums and industries within company approved writing standards for all mediums, i.e., press releases, and blogs, print, social and other collateral-related media.
- Able to successfully develop social media strategies; from content development to posting within primary channels.
- Accurately understands and able to review analytic data as it relates to on-line tracking, i.e., websites, blogs, SEO all social media channels.
- Actively, and consistently stays abreast of new social media techniques and applications that are pertinent to our client base and the unique industries they serve
- Assist in the development of new sales opportunities that are complimentary to the services we provide
- Able to accurately estimate time and cost allocations for project quotations
- Able to manage job flow within all aspects of a project’s life cycle from estimate to final delivery
- Assist president and account managers with current client projects
